POSITION INFORMATION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and participate in the analysis, design and development of new systems or maintenance of existing systems
- Collaborate with appropriate IT and business groups, working within our architecture and standards to ensure appropriate software solutions.
- Responsible for the resolution of complex technical issues related to development of new systems or maintenance of existing systems
- Serve as a direct liaison with management and customer personnel
- Develop software solutions utilizing the appropriate software development languages and tools
- Assume responsibility for project supervision and/or provide technical leadership related to programming, software, and application development techniques
- Lead the work of others by providing direction, guidance, mentoring and being accountable for the overall results.
- Document project scope, objectives, requirements and benefits
- Develop project plans documenting the product to be delivered, assumptions, project approach, project team members and responsibilities, task schedule and budget for the project
- Execute all phases of system analysis and design, preparing all necessary charts, tables, diagrams and codes
- Direct and coordinate programming, testing and implementation activities
- Keep the project within the budget and on schedule meeting project deliverable dates
- Monitor progress during the project, resolve any problems or issues affecting planned activities, take corrective action on exceptions as they occur, insure tasks get done within the schedule
- Lead and participate in vendor package selection and integration
- Provide on call support after hours when critical problems/issues arise
- Actively coach and mentor other team members
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
- BA or BS in Computer Science, preferred
- Minimum ten years accumulated IT experience, required
- Minimum three years experience leading software development teams as a team lead, required
- Experience with software project management full development life cycle using Agile methodology, preferred
- Experience developing solutions using C, C++, Visual Basic 6.0, COM (ATL), WPF, WCF, XAML, and AJAX, preferred
- Experience integrating vendor applications/systems into enterprise application solutions, required
- Demonstrated proficiency developing solutions using Visual Studio, C#, asp.net, XML, Web services, required
- High degree of professionalism, customer orientation, initiative, flexibility, and the ability to multi-task, required
- Relational database development skills, required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, required
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum age of 18
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
