Job Title: WSP: Area Manager

INXUBA YETHEMBA LOCAL MUNICIPALITY

(POST LEVEL 03: TOTAL REMUNERATION PACKAGE R528 147.95 PER ANNUM)

ONE (1) YEAR RENEWABLE CONTRACT

Minimum requirements:
Matric
ND in Civil Engineering, Built Environment or equivalent qualification at NQF level 5/6
Current Registration with Engineering Council SA
Total of 7 years relevant experience of which (2 years Managerial experience +5 years relevant Technical experience
Valid Driver’s License
Computer literacy

Key performance Areas: (include but not limited to)
Identifies with the immediate, short and long term objectives or plans in respect of maintaining synergy between output of water services provision section and associated organizational functions
Responsible for managing and control outcomes associated with utilization, productivity and performance of personnel within water services
Prepare capital and operations estimates and control expenditure against approved allocated budget
Formulate and manages the evaluation and review of water services Development plan against critical deliverables as identified in the Municipal IDP
Analyses and evaluate scoping, awards and deliverables phases or project associated of water and sanitation services to local communities

No faxed CV or emailed applications will be accepted. It will be expected of candidates to be available for selection interviews on a date and time as determined by the Municipality. If the candidate/applicant is found canvassing any of the panelists he/she automatically disqualify him/herself. Appointments will be subjected to compulsory pre-employment screening in the form of qualification, references, criminal checks and competency assessment (where applicable). If the candidate has not been contacted within a month after the closing date he/she must accept that his/her application was unsuccessful
