Job Purpose:
To provide an effective administrative support role to the Head of Africa, Business Development Managers and to play a role within the successful operation of the broader team. Focussing on the risk management and compliance issues relating to the opening of new accounts. Provide a readily available, service focused, knowledgeable and experienced point of contact for new and existing stakeholders.
To assist in telephonic support to the various African country stakeholders to sell, train and support where required.
Key responsibilities :
- Document management
To ensure that all documentation is fully completed, correctly collated and of a high quality
To ensure that all KYC and compliancy issues have been resolved prior to forwarding to Isle of Man within acceptable time frames
Ensure that updated marketing packs are readily available and sent timeously in country
To ensure that due care and attention is paid to all risk issues associated to applications
To keep incountry abreast of outstanding and pending accounts
To identify any Politically Exposed Persons,(PEP), candidates and process accordingly
To ensure that laid out processes are adhered to
Be first check on documents whilst BDM out of country, second check when BDM in country
- Sales support
Assist in the acquisition and retention of clients with high quality service delivery
Assist in servicing and training the distribution network to encourage support of offshore products
Effectively support the sales team to focus on sales
Travel management and flight bookings
Effectively support the various countries in sales
Assist in setting up appointments for the Business Development Manager
To ensure that up to date marketing packs are readily available
Assist in sales fulfilment as and when clients come in
Assist in providing leads to the BDM for new business or cross selling opportunities to existing client
To assist and influence the cell in achieving agreed targets in terms of sales, KYC standards and quality of documentation
To make decisions within the ambit of the position and to take full responsibility for all decisions taken
- Support and Teamwork
To provide ongoing support to the Offshore Services team, this includes assisting other teams when understaffed
Adhere to and respond to turnaround times and deadlines as laid out from time to time

Knowledge:

Experience:
2-3 years secretarial/administrative experience
Two years Forex experience preferably
A strong ability to multi task
Sales experience will be beneficial

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
