Position Description:

The Roads Fund Board is a Government Institution under the Ministry of Works established by the Roads Toll (Amendment) No.2 Act of 1998 Revised Edition, cap 220. The Board is hereby invites applications from suitably qualified Tanzanians to fill the vacancy of Administrative Secretary at its office:

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide Secretarial Service at Meetings! Seminars Provide Secretarial services in the relevant Executive office

Provide support in organising International Conferences and stakeholders’ consultative meetings

Assists in coordinating Secretarial functions with other departments

Type both open and confidential documents Deals will all appointment schedules for the relevant Executive Officer

Ensures availability of all necessary working facilities for Roads Fund Board staff for proper job performance

Handles all official travel related matters for the relevant Executive Officer

Take minutes at staff meetings

Ensure that the offices and surroundings-are clean Supervises the Office Assistant, particularly in registry related issues

Performs any other duties as may be assigned by his/ her superiors

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor degree in Higher Office Management Course or Public Administration and demonstrated outstanding supervisory and secretarial ability Knowledge of computer applications Microsoft office particularly Ms Word, Ms Excel and, Power point

Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a busy environment

Work experience of at least 5 years in similar duties and responsibilities

Clean employment history Good communication skills

Age Limit:Not above 45 years

Terms of Engagement: Permanent and Pensionable
