Job Title: Manager: Office of the Municipal Manager
POST LEVEL 03: TOTAL REMUNERATION PACKAGE R528 147.95 PER ANNUM
Minimum Requirements:
• Matric
• National Diploma/B Degree in Public Administration/Public Management or equivalent qualification at NQF level 5/6
• At least 5-7 years relevant experience in local government administration of which 3 years at management level.
• Computer literacy
• Valid Drivers licence
Key performance Areas: (include but not limited to)
• Provide support to Municipal Manager in order to enhance services delivery.
• Manage and Co-ordinate departmental inputs in the area of development of SDBIP, PMS and annual report.
• Ensure co-ordination of information within the units for the Municipal Manager's Office.
• Conduct research to keep abreast with new developments within the sector
• Provide and co-ordinate performance assessment of the institution within the framework adopted by the Council.
• Prepare, manage and co-ordinate departmental budgets.
• Co-ordinate and prepare performance report for the institution

How to apply:
Application letters accompanied by a comprehensive CV, certified copies of qualifications, identify document and valid driver’s license must be sent to the Chris Hani District Municipality not later than the 26th April 2013 at 12h00. No faxed CV or emailed applications will be accepted. It will be expected of candidates to be available for selection interviews on a date and time as determined by the Municipality. If the candidate/applicant is found canvassing any of the panelists he/she automatically disqualify him/herself. Appointments will be subjected to compulsory pre-employment screening in the form of qualification, references, criminal checks and competency assessment (where applicable). If the candidate has not been contacted within a month after the closing date he/she must accept that his/her application was unsuccessful
