Job Title: Senior Estimator

MURRAY & ROBERTS CONSTRUCTION

Concor Civils, a division of Murray & Roberts Construction, offers a broad capability across all Civil Engineering disciplines and is seeking an Estimator to join their team based in Gauteng.

HEAD OFFICE, BEDFORDVIEW

Candidates must be in possession of either a National Diploma or BSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent, have a minimum of 5 years civil estimating experience and at least 5 years managerial experience on site. This should be complemented with the ability to prepare conceptual budgets based on minimal information, the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, effective oral and written communication skills, and good attention to detail with the ability to recognise discrepancies. Proficiency in computer software programmes used in estimating, with particular emphasis on CCS estimating and planning software, and willingness to travel from time to time will also be required. The incumbent will be responsible for the preparation and submission of detailed estimates and tenders. The position will report to the Head of the estimating department.
