Job Title: Assistant Manager: Performance Information Verification

18 MONTH CONTRACT POSITION

• Total Salary Package: R341 709.00 p.a. (Level 10)
• Ref. No: A6/2013 M&E

Requirements: •
An appropriate Bachelor's Degree / Diploma with strong orientation on performance auditing and quality assurance, coupled with two years of practical work experience in the performance auditing, verification or quality assurance environment
Sound knowledge of monitoring, evaluation, research and project management
A valid driver's licence will be an. added advantage.

Competencies required:
Knowledge:
Knowledge of the South African prescripts on performance monitoring and evaluation; regulations governing performance management and auditing; practical experience in designing and implementing performance verification/auditing frameworks and tools.

Skills:
Quantitative/statistical analysis, project management and good report writing
Interpersonal relations, time management and stakeholder management
Planning, organizing, facilitation and .presenting
Analytical, innovative thinking and good verbal communication.

Key responsibilities:
Develop effective performance Information verification systems/tools in line with the applicable government legislation
Verify departmental performance information based on annual performance plan (APP) reports, with a view to gather evidence on reported achievements
Ensure efficient storage and provision of timeous evidenced based information when required
Participate in monitoring and evaluation activities, including site visits, report writing and other delegated duties
Undertake administrative responsibilities.
