Please visit our website www.joyglobal.com for more information. Joy Global (Canada) Ltd. (JGC) is currently looking to add a Journeyman Welder to our Fort McMurray location. Proficiency in all position use of: GMAW, FCAW, SMAW; all sizes of weld wire Read and interpret blueprints Proficient in the use of oxy/fuel cutting equipment, electric welding machines Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work environment at all times Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and consistently perform welding duties to JGC quality standards

Qualifications
Certified Journeyman qualified to work in the Province of Alberta All position CWB certification required 3 to 7 years welding experience Line boring/machining experience and ability to build up bores requiring repair Flexible, can-do attitude, results oriented, takes pride his/her work and the finished product Deadline driven to meet customer requirements and schedules Ability to work within a team environment essential Commitment to safety and continuous quality/process improvement Experience repairing industrial equipment Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment Ability to operate machining and rigging equipment are necessary requirements Basic knowledge of P&H equipment an asset Prior experience working on shovels, draglines, haul trucks and other mining equipment Valid Drivers License (abstract required) This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is selected.
