The world is moving to cloud computing. Microsoft is betting the company on Windows Azure as our public cloud computing platform and positioning it as the platform of the future. Making Azure applications manageable is critical to customers adopting the platform. Cloud and Data Center Management team has responded to this opportunity and developing state-of-the-art manageability solutions for Microsoft’s cloud platform.

These features are critical for Windows Azure customers to be efficient in building and managing applications in the cloud.

Qualifications:
10+ years industry software development experience
5+ years’ experience working with C# and javascript
Experience in HTML, MVC, JQuery, Silverlight, Azure, SQL, WCF, XML, REST, OData is a plus.
A degree in Computer Science or related technical field is required.
Knowledge and understanding of cloud computing paradigms as well as experience in building highly available, scalable, reliable, distributed systems is highly desirable but not a prerequisite.

Ideal candidate characteristics:
Experience in building and shipping Web based applications and be passionate about user experience.
Strong architecture, coding, debugging, analytical problem solving and communication skills.
Drive for results and have an ability and passion picking up new technologies quickly.
