Are you passionate about selling devices (PCs, tablets, phones), desktop client solutions, deployment services, Apps, BYOD, device security, management, virtualization & productivity solutions?
Microsoft is looking for an experienced Business Sales leader to manage a specialized sales team of Solution and Technical Specialists responsible for delivering the Client and Devices value proposition around solutions built on Windows Client, Windows 8 tablets, Windows Phone 8, and System Center to Business and Technical Decision Makers (CIOs, IT Managers, IT Professionals) in our enterprise segment accounts.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading and managing sales teams, prospecting, developing new business, building strong business relationships, driving and closing Clients and Devices opportunities. The candidate should also have experience selling products, solution and services, and have experience working with OEMs and mobile operators. A demonstrated ability to build a compete culture within the team, grow market share, and orchestrate across a number of organizations is especially important. The ability to effectively present our enterprise value proposition to IT and senior business decision makers is a must

Key Experience needed:
Qualifications include a proven sales and sales management track record in Infrastructure solutions. This includes extensive direct contact with customers; an ability to draft and implement successful sales plans; qualify, prioritize, and address business opportunities; coach, develop and mentor for technical development and leadership, sales negotiations; experience with customers at an executive level; training, coaching and motivating a sales team, including quota setting. A demonstrated knowledge of the software industry, specifically experience with Microsoft Client, Devices, Security, Management, Virtualization, BYOD technologies, is a plus. A track record of implementing large, complex line of business deals within a portfolio of large accounts.
Demonstrating an ability to add value to customer relations and leadership in driving solutions across accounts is critical. Success is measured by overachievement of sales quota as well as achievement of corporate scorecard commitments including a focus on share, deployment, customer and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and executing a business plan to ensure your product's revenue and unit goals are achieved
- Developing a healthy Device and Client Solutions pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Develop in-depth understanding of the operations management and the value they bring in solving business problems
- Increasing focus on security, management, virtualization and productivity across customer base
- Drive customer and partner satisfaction for all Infrastructure solutions
- Connect enterprise customers and partners with the product groups and develop product group relationships to drive innovation and engagement with local accounts.
- Contributing to the recruitment, engagement and readiness of Partners who can help the Sales and Technical Professional drive business.
- Team effectively with Account teams and sales representatives, Partners, Microsoft Consulting Services and marketing to meet your goals and customer needs
- Understand Microsoft strengths relative to competition and effectively communicate those strengths to customers in a positive manner
- Working across team to deliver reference and satisfied customers that can be leveraged in future sales engagements.
Requirements and skills for this position include:
- Professional Sales Management Experience: Strong, proven track record of leading and driving solution selling across a sales team, focused on business value of technical software solutions to solve Enterprise customer problems. 8-10 Years of enterprise sales management experience.
- Consultative Solution Selling Experience: Demonstrated experience of at least 8 years selling technology solutions to senior business and IT decision makers by reinforcing the value of the technology to the customer’s overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities.
- Sales Teamwork Experience: High degree of collaboration with multiple Microsoft sales leadership and personnel, as well as Microsoft Partners will be required for success. Experiences should demonstrate that the candidate has worked as part of a collaborative sales organization.
- Customer Management and Prioritization Excellence: Demonstrated strategic time management and multitasking skills. Effectively manages sales pipeline with predictable business results that exceed revenue targets. High degree of collaboration with multiple Microsoft sales personnel, as well as Microsoft Partners will be required for success.

Education/Certifications:

- Successful candidates will have a BS/BA/MBA degree
- Sales and partner management, complex sales training (e.g., Miller Hyman, Spin, Michael Bosworth, Holden , etc.), sales methodologies, broad evangelism through events (presentation skills), effective marketing tactics, negotiation, financial analysis, Line of Business applications space, business process consulting or automation, CRM (Siebel or other), Employee Performance Management (systems and processes)
