The Microsoft Advertising Account Management team is looking for a Manager who will manage and develop Account Management professionals responsible for building relationships, managing campaigns and growing the business of premium Canadian advertisers. The AM Managers will also be responsible for working directly with premier advertisers to continue to grow these accounts and ensure Microsoft Advertising is exceeding its expectations related to Microsoft Advertising service. The business environment demands that Managers demonstrate a capability to plan and manage for both short and longer-term goals and an ability to work effectively across groups.

- Has extensive experience in ad trafficking, quantitative analysis, and people management
- Is highly organized and process minded
- Has strong business acumen

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead an integrated team of sales planners, account managers and network strategists
- Design and champion clear processes in aide of speeding the sales cycle and mitigating business risks
- Develop and lead strategy, recommendations, and action plans surrounding inventory optimization, process streamlining, ad product enhancements
- Lead implementation and management of new ad-serving technologies
- Liaise with business operations to drive a shared view of performance
- Extract and analyze data from available technologies and the team to provide business intelligence used to drive pricing, inventory, sales and product strategy
- Assist in development of pricing strategy and custom deal pursuit
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years of experience in digital advertising operations, business analysis, and or management
- Experience and proven success in people management
- University degree in business, economics, computer science, statistics; MBA an asset
- Experience with ad-serving technologies
- Expertise in quantitative modeling and excel required
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exemplary work ethic
