Position Description

Rothsay, a member of Maple Leaf Foods Inc, has an opening for a 2nd CLASS OPERATING ENGINEER at our Dundas facility.

Responsible for the safe, efficient operation of a 1st Class high pressure steam plant, compressor systems, water treatment and air quality control systems.

Additional Language None
• Experience with boilers, water treatment equipment and other related
equipment.
• Experience in operation of air quality control system preferred.
• Maintenance of boilers, water, steam distribution system and air quality control
system.
• Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts, in 7/24-hour operation.
• Must hold current valid Ontario second class operating engineer's certificate.
• Candidate must be reliable, punctual and self motivated with ability to work with
minimum supervision.
• Must be willing and able to work over time when and if required.
• Must be a team player.
