JOB TITLE: TECHNICIAN HYDRAULIC

Reporting to
ASST. MANAGER
-
HYDRAULIC
Responsibility

Diagnose and rectify faults on marine hydraulic systems such as deck
cranes, winches, steering gear systems and cargo / ballast valve
hydraulic systems.

Overhaul hydraulic motors, pumps, control valves etc.

Keep accurate, complete records and prepare reports.

Ensure that the Safety, Quality
& Environment
requirements of the yard
are strictly followed
.

Perform other job related duties
as assigned by the section head.
Preferred
Competencies

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / ITI or equivalent.

Experience and knowledge of all aspects of electrohydraulic
mechanism and systems.

Shipyard experience with hydraulic deck cranes preferred.

Working knowledge of English Language
