Job Summary:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of IT Support Technician for various sites, as per business requirements. The successful candidate will report to the Systems Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:
• Answering user enquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems
• Setting up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
• Installing and performing minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications
• Referring major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service
• Logging and tracking of support issues in the company helpdesk
• Adhering to and enforcing the Company’s Policies and Procedures
• Must be willing to travel

Key Requirements:
• At least 2 years IT support experience
• Computer literate
• Microsoft Office, with intermediate level Excel
• SharePoint will be advantageous
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and at least one of the other official languages
• Valid driver’s licence

Education:
• Matric certificate
• A+ / N+
• IT diploma will be advantageous
