P&H Mine Air Systems is growing manufacturer of Air Conditioning and Heating Systems for mobile mining equipment. We currently have an open position for an individual who has a skill set in multi-tasking, communication and attention to detail.

The Engineering Technologist responsibilities are:

-All B.O.M modifications, changes to the drawings and S.A.P
-A/C unit design, drafting, modeling on new and existing systems
-Communicates with production staff with any build issues and drawing mark ups.
-Communicates with service technicians on any field issues
-Managing the RFPD system (request for product development)
-Research on new components for new and existing A/C systems
-Manages drawing revision control systems (Vault)
-Design manuals and brochures for new systems
Qualifications

-Education and experience in Engineering Technology
-Experience using Autodesk Inventor and Vault
-Solid modeling of parts and assemblies, knowledge of sheet metal
-Converting of drawings to various formats for non-inventor users to use
-Create drawings for parts, assemblies and installations
-Able to use Inventor to create “artwork” to be used for brochures or manuals
-Create/revise template files and project files
-Setting up/configuring styles and standards
-Create/publish electrical parts
-Able to import data from Autodesk Electrical to route cables/wires using Cable and Harness
-Able to use pack and go to gather and transfer files
-Knowledge of Autodesk Electrical (create/revise template and project files, create components with properties that can be used in Inventor)
-Knowledge of 3D/2D AutoCad
-Knowledge of SAP System or other ERP system
-Solid organizational skills
-Able to compile information from various sources (sketch, photo, email, etc) to prepare project files for other departments to use
-Research skills
-Able to find information required to complete projects (via internet, vendors, other departments, etc)
