Responsibilities:
Assembling components to produce air conditioning products; brazing copper pipe; gasketing and insulating the air conditioning units; cutting and drilling metal brakets; installing components, some electrical assembly.
Must monitor data and systems, testing alternatives, taking charge of problems and improvement related to the products and their production.
The ability to present ideas and concepts in written and verbal form to a variety of users in informal and formal settings.
The ability to solve problems that may be design related requires the ability to patiently understand the processes and people involved in order to propose alternative solutions for the problem at hand.
A solid grounding in engineering, mechanical/electrical concepts and procedures related to the design and manufacture of climate control systems.
Qualifications:
Mechanical Aptitude a must.
Ability to read part drawings and follow work procedures.
Knowledge of basic hand tools and air tools
Familiar with the use of a drill press and mill drill.
Ability to work with and communicate well with co-workers.
Results oriented and deadline driven.
Excellent Time Management skills.
Safety Awareness and Focus on Safe Work Practices a must.
Ability and experience brazing copper pipe a plus
