PwC Consulting practice is seeking a Senior Associate in the area of IT controls to join the team in Montreal.
As part of their contributions to the Assurance Group, the successful candidates will review IT general controls, business process systems and application controls. They will also be required to work on control consulting engagements.
Our team is primarily made up of IT professionals and accounting specialists able to adapt to new challenges and committed to developing the practice in a fast-growth environment.
Requirements:
The successful candidates’ primary duties will include:
- Planning and executing audit engagements involving IT general controls and application controls.
- Analyzing control design elements and control test results in order to determine the impact on the audit approach.
- Identifying control exceptions and impacts and notifying the manager on a timely basis.
- Identifying problems or anomalies and helping to solve them.
- Writing reports.
- Ensuring that audit engagements are carried out within the specified deadlines.
- Managing multiple engagements at the same time.
- Supervising less experienced resources.
- Identifying business opportunities.
- Assisting with proposal writing.
- Maintaining ongoing relationships with client contacts.
Basic skills
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems management or business administration.
- Good grasp of ERP systems (JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle Financials).
- Knowledge of ACL data analysis software would be an asset.
- Available for travel to clients.
- CISA designation or a relevant professional designation or commitment to obtaining the CISA designation.
- Bilingual (English/French).
Additional skills
- Experience with SOX or 52-109 compliance.
- Audits in accordance with CICA Section 5970 rules and Section 9110 reports.
- Project management.
- ERP security/controls.
- Internal and external audits.
