Introduction
Our client, is a Pan-African, specialized finance company with a mix of prestigious African and European investors. Its current operations are in Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Gabon, Mali, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Zambia and Tunisa. The company offers a comprehensive range of personal and investment financing solutions which include leasing, investment loans, long-term rental and consumer credit.

Minimum Requirements

· Minimum BSc degree in Finance
· 3 to 5 years work experience as an internal auditor with an international company , in the finance or banking sector. Or similar work experience as an external auditor with a reputable audit firm specializing in banking/finance.
· Knowledge of credit is a must, knowledge of leasing and/or consumer finance is a plus
· First hand management experience in a multicultural environment
· Bilingual in English and French

Job Specification

The Group Internal Auditor role reports to the Board of Directors of the Group. The main objectives are to define and implement the internal controls and risk management procedures at all the subsidiaries and at Group level. The main responsibilities are:

Define and implement the internal control strategy
Management of audit missions and investigations
Leadership and supervision of the internal auditors team

The position requires a candidate who is able to work autonomously and effectively. The candidate should have well developed management skills and be able to cross both cultural and physical distance barriers. He/she must have a strong sense of leadership, strong analytical skills and be result oriented. He/she should also have strong presentation skills
