Purpose of Role:
To liaise with the business to formulate business specifications and functional descriptions in order to meet business requirements
To liaise with the development team to hand-over functional descriptions
To compile test plans and ensure delivery is according to business requirements.
To conduct continuous business and industry research to guide the critical evaluation of new and existing software / application solutions.

Requirements:
Grade 12
Relevant 3 year degree or diploma in IT would be preferred
Tertiary qualification (certificate or diploma) in Business Analysis (i.e. through FTI) would be preferred
At least 7 years’ proven experience as Business Analyst (BA) in Internet and Mobile channels
Basic project management experience
Must have detailed knowledge of:
IT systems development processes
Application development
Business analysis and design
Standards and governance
Testing practices
A relevant process modelling language (i.e. UML)
Business process modelling (BPM)
Detailed knowledge of the following would be advantageous:
Agile development life cycle
Banking systems and business models
Best practices for Quality Assurance (QA)
Communication skills (written and verbal) in English
Interpersonal / Relationship management skills
Negotiation and influencing
Facilitation
Presentation skills
Analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills
Business acumen
Process and organisational thinking
