Description:
An exciting opportunity exists with our client, a leader in the ICT, Industry and Energy sector, acquiring the skills of a Senior Solution Software Developer. This is a permanent role based in Midrand.

The purpose of the role is to provide development support to System Analysts in the solution engineering department of the Business.

Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of Microsoft and Unix operating systems and LAN/WAN networks
- Knowledge of a wide range of development platforms and tools
- 4 years development experience
- Should require little to no support from Solution Engineering team members on development topics

Job Specific Criteria:
- Knowledge of Sun, Linux and Microsoft operating systems
- Good Knowledge of:
o SQL statements (ODBC / JDBC)
o Java (Eclipse)
o .NET (Visual Studio)
o SOA / SOAP (Web Services)

Formal Qualifications:
- Matric
- B.Sc. degree
