Description:
The Staffing Services team of Human Capital Management, a division of Gijima, is currently looking for a Project Manager in the investment banking area for one of their clients.This is a 12 Months contract based in Johannesburg CBD.This role requires a very strategic thinker who will hit the ground running.

Purpose:
The Project Manager is responsible for the execution of one or more simultaneous projects, in accordance with CIB (Corporate and Investment Banking) PMO policies, procedures and standards.

Key responsibilities:
•Project phase lifecycle management.
•Delivery of projects according to baseline plan (scope, cost, time and quality).
•The identification, analysis, logging and tracking of project issues and risks.
•The establishment and management of Customer and Business expectations.
•The creation of a motivated and productive team of project resources
•The provision of clear direction and feedback to project team.
•Ensure effective usage and governance of CIB’s Quality Management System

Experience:
•A minimum 5 years in a program or project management role, not including project support,
administration or project co-ordination role.
•Must have worked in Financial Service industry, preferably a Bank, ideally a Corporate and Investment
bank.
•Must have managed IT projects across the stack including the full project SDLC lifecycle and applications
through infrastructure in scope.
•Demonstrated, proven skill in the management of a team of professional resources.
