Our client is a full service, strategy-minded marketing agency based in Nairobi that delivers bold new perspectives to get its clients noticed. The company is currently seeking a highly motivated, confident Junior Graphic Designer
Minimum Requirements
One year of industry experience
Diploma or higher in appropriate field
Passionate about design and willingness to update job knowledge
Keen on strategy and research based projects in order to deliver successful design
Strong computer skill; competent in Adobe Suite and eagerness to learn new software
Job Specification
The ideal candidate will be a responsible team player with self-driven abilities – possess strong, detailed skills in developing creative ideas and can work in a fast–paced, fun and exciting work environment and industry. The ideal candidate will create and inspire new concepts toward client projects using a wide range of mediums.
Summary of Job Responsibilities
• Work closely with Creative Team to execute ideas
• Translate concepts into variable design concepts
• Research and keep abreast of emerging design trends and practices
• Design promotional and event collateral for both print and web
• Co-ordinate production and timelines of print jobs with team members to meet overall campaign deadlines
• Develop design exploration assets, and mood boards for pitches or client presentations to help determine a projects direction
• Improve and create graphics for web design and other related projects
• Responsible in print production and delivering appropriate files
• Collaborate with strategist and other members of the AKSENT team to produce presentations for business development and client meetings
