Description:
A leading Financial Services Market Trader in Sandton is acquiring the skills of a BizTalk / Systems Developer to join them on a permanent basis.

The BizTalk\Systems Developer is responsible for:
- the development of application components against specifications as well as documentation of technical specifications.
- unit testing of the application components, and handover to the test team for system and user acceptance testing.
- analysis and investigate new or changes to business requirements and provide impact assessments.
- will participate and provide input into solution architecture.

Skills:
• Appropriate and recognised formal IT training/experience (i.e. MS Certifications); and
• 3 to 5 years programming experience in OOP – C# .NET/Java and Web Development (HTML & ASP).
• An advantage would be:
• An appropriate and recognised formal IT training (a BComm Information Systems or BSC Computer Science or IT Diploma are preferable); and
• Experience in the financial sector.

Experience:
• 2yrs + BizTalk Server development
• BizTalk Pipeline and adapter development
• C# .NET, SQL Server skills;
• Strong XML, XML Schema, Web Services, WCF services, , IIS, Framework 2.0, 3.5, 4.0;
• Documentation delivery and interpretation skills, with a detailed knowledge of SDLC documentation requirements and appropriate SDLC methodology;
• Appropriate skill in Source Management tools (such as TFS or SourceSafe);
• Detailed understanding of Application Management Delivery procedures;
• Time Management and Project Reporting skills, focussing on deadlines;
• Quality Management principles;
• Solid understanding of relational database designs / concepts;
• Good oral and written communication skills; and
• Extensive Microsoft Office experience.
• A distinct advantage would be a candidate who possesses the following knowledge:
o Knowledge of Financial Markets
o BizTalk Server 2006 R2 and above
o Writing of Custom BizTalk Components (pipelines, adapters, etc.)
