Purpose of Role:
To workshop Functional Requirements with the Business Analysts in order to fully understand the business requirements
To workshop Technical Specifications with the Architects in order to fully understand the technical specifications
To ensure on-time delivery of code
To liaise with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure the effective transfer of code from development to QA

Requirements:
Grade 12
Relevant IT qualification
At least 5 years’ relevant design and development experience
Must have proven knowledge of and experience in:
Documentum xCP version 1.6 (1 year development experience)
Technical fundamentals of Documentum and xCP
Knowledge of underlying modules of Documentum
Java Enterprise Edition
Relational Databases
UML
OO Development Methodologies
SOA Design and Implementation
Design Patterns and Best Practices
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:
JBOSS Enterprise
MS SQL Server 2008
Webservices (XML and SOAP messaging)
Understanding of financial systems and procedures
SVN
Communication skills (written and verbal) in English
Relationship management skills
Analytical and problem solving skills
Attention to technical detail
Sense of ownership
Ability to work under own initiative (proactive attitude)
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to operate in a dynamic environment
Ability to adapt to change
Ability to work well within a team
