The Physics Department seeks a Senior Lecturer in Physics (on teaching conditions of service). The successful candidate for this post must have at least an MSc in Tertiary Physics Education and 10 years’ experience in lecturing Physics to large engineering classes at university level. He/she will be expected to:
• lecture at least twice a day to large classes;
• supervise large tutorial groups;
• teach junior undergraduate laboratories; and
• contribute positively to departmental administration.

The annual cost of employment, including benefits, is R562 173.
