Duties:
The successful candidate will be required to teach Poetics, Modern Literary Theory, Drama, Short Stories and American Literature at both undergraduate and post graduate level. Supervision of Honours and Masters dissertations. Should be able and willing to teach Academic Literacy at first year level. Perform administrative duties which may be delegated by the Head of Department.
Requirements:
Candidate must be in possession of a Masters degree in English Literature with added requirements of a Lecturer below. Publications in an accredited journal will be a strong recommendation. Registration for a doctoral degree and evidence of supervision at Honours and Masters levels will be an advantage.
