We are currently looking for a Regional Manager, Eastern Canada located in Labrador City, NL. Reporting to the General Manager, Canada, this position is accountable for the day-to-day operational requirements of the branch. Strong leadership skills will be prerequisites to a successful candidacy.

Responsibilities:
Ensure health and safety is effectively implemented to ensure a goal of zero incidents
Responsible for the financial performance, day-to-day operations and annual business planning for the branch
Provide day-to-day direction and support to branch employees to meet or exceed operational, financial and performance targets
Excel in providing customer relationships and service excellence for the branch
Escalate and monitor sensitive, high-risk situations so that customer needs are addressed
Champion the performance management process, provide coaching and mentoring to employees
Demonstrate analytical capabilities and sound budgeting approach
Participate in annual business planning, resource planning and goal setting with your managers and other team members
Develop an effective strategic business plan for the branch and implement same
Recruit and develop talent in accordance with corporate HR policies and with the assistance of human resources

Qualifications
Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related discipline (business, leadership, mining, finance, sales) or equivalent experience
2 years’ experience in the equipment sales, parts or service environment
5 years supervisory, management or team leadership experience including direct responsibility for P&L and Balance Sheet assets
Experience with operational responsibilities (resource management, work scheduling and goal setting)
Experience implementing business change and operational improvements
Strong communication skills and ability to communication openly with diverse stakeholders
Proven experience in coaching, mentoring or leading others
Conflict resolution or dispute mediation experience an asset
Courses in accounting or financial analysis an asset
A self-starter with excellent problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in all aspects of the MS Office Package
Fluency in French and English a must
