Outputs:
Act as a business partner by embedding company HR strategy and by providing professional generalist HR guidance and support to client groups with the objective to add value to the business
Contribute to the regional business strategy by helping identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes
Diagnose business challenges and together with HR COE and HR practitioners craft solutions
Translate regional business and HR strategy into a clear annual HR operational plan
Implement and manage salary grading and compensation programs
Analyze surveys to ensure appropriate compensation across the business
Advise management on employee benefits and compensation related issues
Support the benchmarking and job grading processes
Provide input to the crafting and implementation of the total rewards and benefits strategy
Implement group wide initiatives/strategy
Design and implement Human Resources Policies and Procedures (Employee Relations, Recruitment & Selection)
Responsible for execution of all people processes in the employment and business cycle, in line with policy and legislation - recruitment, induction, L&D, EE planning, retention, career management, reward etc
Support RDs, GM and line management in forecasting and planning the talent pipeline requirements in line with the function/business strategy
Facilitate line of sight initiatives to build a high-performing organization aligned with the regional strategic leadership agenda
Facilitate and promote employee engagement and feedback
Provide HR expert advice and coaching where appropriate
Manage and follow through on Employee Relations cases
Implement Performance Management philosophy and processes
Transactional HR excellence - effective back office liaison
HR Reporting (monthly, training, assessments, projects)

Education & Experience:
A minimum of a post grad qualification in HR
Portuguese language a requirement
Understanding of benefits and compensation Processes
Understanding of Performance Management and improvement processes
Hands-on exposure to the various rewards management processes
Human Resources information systems understanding
Minimum 4 - 6 years’ experience in HR role(s) in a comparable environment
Basic Project Management skills
BCEA, Employment Equity, Labour Relations Act and Skills Development Act
Reward and compensation methodologies
Human Resources Development approaches
Human Resources and Company Policies and Procedures
30% - 40% travel
