The Clinical Manager position presents an Opportunity to work with our world-class group of clinical advisors together with exposure to all elements of building an innovative maternal health organization.
Job Description
The Clinical Manager will be expected to provide leadership at our Thika Inpatient Maternity facility to achieve departmental and institutional objectives within a rapidly changing environment.
He/She will apply advanced knowledge of nursing and management to manage systems of patient care, personnel development, fiscal and clinical operations, performance improvement, and program development.
Requirements
B.Sc degree in Nursing (preferred) or its equivalent and current license as a registered nurse in Kenya.
Kenya Certified Nurse Midwife/Kenya Community Health Registered Nurse.
Five years clinical nursing experience with a two year preference in a progressive nursing leadership/supervisory role (including Charge Nurse) or management role
Depending on the needs of the organization, some incumbents in this job class may be required to obtain additional certifications or training in one or more specialty areas. Must be BLS Certified, ACLS, PALS desired
