REQUIREMENTS:
• Appropriate qualification that allows for the required registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in the relevant profession (where applicable). (RSA: No experience required after registration with the HPCSA in the relevant profession (where applicable) in respect of RSA qualified employees who performed community service in relevant profession as required in South Africa), (Foreigner: 1 Year relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA in the relevant profession (where applicable) in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform community service as required in South Africa).
SALARY Grade 2: R249 612 p.a.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Appropriate qualification that allows for the required registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in the relevant profession (where applicable). (RSA: A minimum of 10 years' relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA in the relevant profession (where applicable) in respect of RSA qualified employees who performed community service in relevant profession as required in South Africa), (Foreigner: Minimum of 11 years' relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA in the relevant profession (where applicable) in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform community service as required in South Africa).
SALARY Grade 3: R294 036 p.a.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Appropriate qualification that allows for the required registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in the relevant profession (where applicable). (RSA: A minimum of 20 years1 relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA In the relevant profession (where applicable) in respect of RSA qualified employees who performed community service in relevant profession as required in South Africa), (Foreigner: Minimum of 21 years' relevant experience after registration with HPCSA in the relevant profession (where applicable) in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform community service as required in South Africa).
Note:
For all medical positions please specify clearly your discipline of choice as well as the centre where you would prefer to be employed. The Department is also recruiting staff for the July 2013 Registrar intake. Registrars will inter alia be responsible for rendering of clinical services, assessment and treatment of patients, related administrative duties, participating in all activities of the discipline in relation to teaching and research, participating in departmental audit activities, preparing and writing of reports, liaison and communication services and community liaison. Registrars will be rotated through related departments at various hospitals, comprising hospitals mentioned below as well as hospitals served in their specific outreach programmes. Registrars will be appointed jointly between the Gauteng Provincial Government and the following tertiary institutions: University of Limpopo, University of Pretoria (UP) and University of the Witwatersrand (WITS).
