Salary: An all-inclusive remuneration package of R495 603 per annum (Level 11). The all-inclusive remuneration package consists of a basic salary, the State's contribution to the Government Employees Pension Fund and a flexible portion that may be structured according to personal needs within a frame work.

Centre: Bedfordview

Requirements:
• Tertiary qualification or equivalent in the field of mechanical engineering, transportation, logistics, administration or management with a specialization in transport or logistics management or other relevant fields
• Training and courses in management
• At least 10 years of experience in motor vehicle transport operations management

Duties: The Deputy Director's responsibility is:
• Manage the Entity's fleet in order to ensure that vehicles are kept within their replacement life-cycles
• Facilitate the procurement of vehicles based on the client's department's requirement
• Ensure sound financial management of the allocated budget
• Supervise and manage staff within the sub directorate
• Ensure sound financial management of the allocated budget
• Provide support to Senior Management and other components as and when required
