Minimum Qualifications
Diploma (in Business/ Marketing) or equivalent preferred
Knowledge of customer service principles and processes
Knowledge of sales principles
Relevant knowledge on workshops & training
Experience in a retail, customer service or sales environment
Basic business administration knowledge
Job Description
Contacting potential clients/ organizations to provide information and market Iris projects
Tele-marketing, corresponding and meeting with current and prospective customers.
Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale and surpass the sales target set;
Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries;
Preparing & coordinating invitation of key guests and speakers
Making travel & accommodation arrangements for delegates
Conducting sales and marketing of sponsorship opportunities to potential sponsors (and delivery)
Developing approaches that will encourage donor/sponsors support
Assisting in delivery of publicity material to potential delegates, sponsors and other stakeholders
Registration (should include on-line registration and paper registration, on-site registration, collection of fees, and statistical reports on registration numbers, breakdowns etc.)
