The role of Web Accessibility Consultant involves assessing both the technical and practical accessibility of online services, facilitating training courses and working with large organisations to develop sustainable accessibility strategies.
In addition to a passion for accessibility, the successful applicant will be highly proficient in HTML, CSS and JavaScript and have a minimum of 3 years usability and/or accessibility commercial consulting experience. An exciting position is available for an experienced, self motivated and dedicated Mammography Specialist to contribute their expertise to BreastScreen SA. BreastScreen SA (BSSA) is part of Statewide Services within the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), and is the South Australian component of the national breast cancer screening program, BreastScreen Australia. BSSA aims to reduce mortality and morbidity attributed to breast cancer, in women primarily aged 50 to 69. In this key role, you will be responsible for the provision of an efficient mammographic screening service. Primarily, your duties will involve the conduct of screening mammography examinations in fixed clinics operated by BSSA.
Registered with Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia, you will hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification, usually in radiation science or equivalent, and a statement of Accreditation in Diagnostic Radiography from the Australian Institute of Radiography, or its recognised equivalent. With substantial experience in radiography, you will possess the proven ability to perform standard medical imaging services. Operating effectively as an independent professional or collaboratively within a team, you will be proficient in resolving, mediating and managing conflict situations. Advanced communication skills are required, and you will demonstrate the ability to be sympathetic yet decisive, with sensitivity to the special requirements/issues in screening programs and in the diagnosis and management of benign and malignant breast conditions.
