ROLE PURPOSE
The Sales Planning Assistant will join as a support function to the Market Business Analytic Manager and Sales Planning Executive by providing analysis, reports and recommendations on Toyota sales strategies and developing sales forecasts.
Develop, implement and communicate sales programs to front line that effectively motivate behaviour towards new vehicle sales targets
KEY ACTIVITIES
Support:
To maintain a suite of existing reports and create new reports to cater the changing needs of the business.
To constantly check the relevance and needs of all stakeholder reports and provide continuous feedback on all reports.
Monitor, analyse, and recommend actions that impact the achievement of sales targets, including Sales Campaign development in conjunction with Marketing and Sales Management.
Monitor and report stock positions and proposed actions to diminish risk and resolve ageing issues in model level.
Provide input to forecasting and budgeting cycles with respect to new car volumes and revenues.
Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to front line staff and senior management in the form of written reports, proposals and presentations that enable decision making and keep the organisation aligned on business environment.
Ability to analyse large volumes of data to produce trends, issues and areas of focus, through existing systems (SAP, Fastrack, BIW...etc.)
Generate Monthly Market Analysis reports from the available database on the Market and Competitor Brand Sales trends and activities.
Communication:
AFM Internal Departments:
Work closely with Ordering, Product and Distribution departments on Sales Planning by month, by model and by variant level.
Coordinate with Planning & Ordering teams for developing forecasts
Management:
Report Sales Trend and Market performance
Update competitor activities
Recommend Sales Plan by Month, By Model and By Variant
TMC:

Through continuous sales/stock monitoring and market trends advice on sales strategy

KNOWLEDGE:
Business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modelling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems, including customer data capture and lead management.
Sales and Marketing: Understanding of current procedures
Financial and Accounting: High numeral & verbal ability
English Language: General language understanding & writing
EDUCATION
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
CERTIFICATIONS
High Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
EXPERIENCE
Min 3 years of work experience in Analytical role (non-automotive is acceptable)
